Must-Have Items for Brawler Build

How to Unlock Build Components
Some items in this Brawler Explosive Punches (AFK Wave 50) build require unlocking before they can be used. Note that items listed in "Avoid" sections are also shown here - check the build details to see if unlocking them is necessary for this strategy.

Early Game (Around Waves 1-4)
When Leveling up go for Survivability (Max HP, HP reg or life steal) instead of offensive stats like damage or melee damage since you will want to go for explosion damage as soon as possible anyways. Increasing luck or harvesting is also good since this build relies on a high quantity of a small collection of rare items especially in the early game. The first few waves are actually the hardest part since you dont want to buy anything in the best case (Exect for coupons maybe) so you can go all in when the power knuckles become available in wave 4 (if you really struggle you could buy some extra fists with the positiv site effect of a higher chance for power fists in wave 4)

Mid Game (Around Waves 5-10)
Make sure to get as many power knuckles as possible at this point you will most likely really lack damage which is why you want to get back in the lead you might not completely outscale the enemies yet but it will get a lot easier. Make sure to buy dynamite and plastic explosives every time you see them the more you have the better. On wave 8 red items might appear in the shop so look out for Sid’s relic because you want to stay afk later and this way you’ll still get all drops. Also you will want a total of 3 Chameleons to satisfy your dodge cap and make sure to take a Barricade here and there for that extra damage reduction and increased survivability.

Late Game (Around Wave 11 and beyond)
Now it’s time to stack the good stuff Priority 1: Explosion Damage and Size (you can’t get enough explosion damage but since the map isn’t infinitely large around 30-50 plastic explosives + the set bonus will do) Priority 2: Survivability: Tardigrade is always great especially when an elite runs into you (normal enemies won’t make it to you) but also boosting your Max HP and HP Reg can’t hurt Priority 3: General stat increases: More attack speed or melee damage can never be bad but it shouldn’t be your top priority.

General Info
This is an extremely RNG heavy build!!! It took me a lot of tries to get a good run and even if a run seems great until wave 30 or even slightly higher you can still get unlucky and don’t get enough explosive power going to keep the run alive. I will try to turn the recording of my rub into a somewhat decent video although my toaster pc probably recorded with 5 fps. Anyways if you are still reading I just wanted to say thank you, the Brawler is a really awesome class that just often gets overshadowed by other ones like demon and I just wanted to show how amazing it could be granted this build doesn’t rely to much on the starter class but still it can be good if you are lucky and in mean really lucky in my run that died in wave 180 against the elites I had 63 plastic explosives, 254 dynamite, 20 tardigrade (not that crazy) and nearly 80 potatoes. I probably spent more on re rolling than buying stuff. Anyways all tough this isn’t the most consistent and reliable build it was my first try at one and I thank you so much for reading through this if you have any suggestions or ideas for this build be sure to point them out! And lastly a little overview, with the most important stuff first:
