Core Strategy
The Builder's turret copies your strongest ranged weapon's stats. Every 5 uncollected materials convert into attack speed and range for the turret. At certain milestones (30 stacks), the turret gains additional projectiles, maxing at 4 total projectiles.
Required Stats:
Early Game
Until around Wave 10 you only have one Slingshot. Start with defensive items since damage scaling is reduced by 75%. Combine Slingshots early for bounce effects. Balance between collecting materials for shop purchases and leaving some for turret buffs.

Focus on getting engineering upgrades to scale turret damage. Use Tasers for crowd control. Look for items that boost engineering or provide utility since direct damage scaling is limited.

Transition to Sniper Gun for high single-target damage that the turret can copy. Stack engineering for massive damage scaling. Focus on survival items since the turret handles most combat.

Avoid weapons without bounce effects as they provide less coverage. The 75% damage reduction makes most direct damage items inefficient.

Balance material collection - don't leave too much on ground early game as you need shop purchases. The turret gains multiple projectiles at 30 stack intervals. Engineering scaling is more important than range damage due to the 75% damage reduction.
