Core Strategy
Stack multiple Thief Daggers and upgrade them to maximize material gains. The King gains bonus damage and attack speed for tier 4 weapons but loses these stats for tier 1 weapons. Focus on upgrading daggers quickly to offset the King's weakness to tier 1 items.
Required Stats:
Early Game
Start by getting two Material Daggers in the first shop (28 total cost). Stack multiple Thief Daggers early but don't combine them immediately to maximize material gain. Keep one regular knife for crit chance until later waves.
Items:
Weapons:
Mid Game
Get rid of the Knive at around Wave 8. Begin combining daggers around wave 6 to handle tougher enemies. Focus on getting life steal and armor to improve survivability. Look for purple or red tier Thief Daggers to improve material gains.
Items:
Weapons:
Late Game
Stack attack speed and crit chance to maximize material generation. Focus on survival stats as enemies get tougher. Keep upgrading daggers to maintain high damage output.

Weapons:
Avoid Items
Be cautious with tier 1 items as they reduce the King's stats. Don't take too many common items late game as the -2 HP cost adds up.

Tips
The King's high luck (50%) helps get better items and more crates. Focus on surviving boss waves rather than trying to kill them if underpowered. Prioritize material gain early to snowball upgrades later.
