Short Game Plan

The plan is to maximize gains from level ups with the barnacle, to boost all stats to the limit and therefore be an unstoppable stat monster, while focussing on items which maximize XP-gain, to synergize the damage dealt by the quarterstaffs and the extremely increased level ups. To get better level up stats you need luck, to afford the increased shop costs you need harvesting early. Going endless, you max out Max HP, Armor, Dodge, Crit and HP Reg. as much as possible.

Early Game (~Stage 1-10)

In early get all XP-Gain-Items you find, the quarter staff scales with them. The three most important ones are linked below. Also get harvesting and luck to around 50-60. After that choose items efficiently, meaning that you go for purple stats if they appear. Stats you should focus on early (apart from luck and harvesting) are linked below in the order of importance.

Mid Game (~Stage 11-20)

While heading towards Stage 20, the item "barnacle" becomes crucial. It gives more stats per level up. You should also get enough Max HP and Armor to tank enemies, while also getting Dodge close to 60% and HP-Reg. up to 20-30 to be able to recover after taking hits. Since you focus on Max HP and Armor in early game, Dodge and HP-Reg. get way more important here. Stats in order of importance below.

Late Game (Stage 20+)

At this point you should have a kit that easily drops bosses in seconds, while barely taking damage. If you got the barnacle early, curse starts to get pretty high eventually, where the black flag gets rly usefull, to gain more material. Apart from that you should boost Crit Chance to 100% aswell as level up percentage damage and just continue to maximize Max HP, Armor and HP-Reg. Apart from that you take valuable red items and get all your Quarterstaffs maxed out, if that didnt happen before. Oder of stat importance below.

Additional Notes + Endless Expectations

Thats pretty much it. To go further in the endless run, you can get the fish hook to curse your quarter staffs. That should give you a temporary boost of stats, which make you go a little further. With 3/6 red Quarterstaffs and 3/6 cursed (not maxed) Quarterstaffs, i reached wave 30 easily, after which it got difficult, because the damage just isnt there anymore to kill enemies, which are all cursed at that point. Therefore you start running away only. After all i died at wave 34, getting too much damage that could not be regenrerated, although i had 350 Max HP.
