Must-Have Items for Cyborg Build

How to Unlock Build Components
Some items in this Cyborg Explodeborg build require unlocking before they can be used. Note that items listed in "Avoid" sections are also shown here - check the build details to see if unlocking them is necessary for this strategy.

Early Game
Upgrade your screwdrivers as much as possible in the first 3 waves. Roll twice each level up for harvesting until wave 4 or 5. You want 40 or so harvesting, so grab any harvesting items you see. Focus on getting ranged damage as your main damage stat, as that will buff your minigun in the first half of the waves, and turn into engineering in the second half, buffing your screwdrivers and landmines. Lifesteal will be your healing stat, as that keeps your minigun useful in the second half of waves, and overall will give you much more healing per point than regen. Dont forget to buff your Max HP to about 30 by wave 7 or so.

Mid Game
By wave 7 or so, you will want to prioritize getting lifesteal, ranged damage, and explosion damage (and size). You will want lifesteal to at least 15 and ranged damage to at least 30 by wave 13. The higher the better for these stats. The explosion damage will help your landmines hit decently in the first half of waves, but like trucks in the second half. You will start to feel more powerful in the second half of the wave than in the first half. Pick up all constructs and landmines you see, and start working on defensive stats like armor, HP, and dodge. If you can get a Chainsaw, it will be one of the best possible weapons for this build. It will be good damage output during all parts of the wave if you have your lifesteal high enough, and will allow you to kill bosses easily.

Late Game
Level your weapons. If you have the opportunity, get a second chainsaw before you level your first. Keep building lifesteal and damage. Start to focus more heavily on defensive stats to make sure you don't throw the run this late in! Bloody Hand is an auto win if you can get it. Try to get at least 50 HP (60 is better) 10 armor (15 is better), 40 dodge (dodge cap of 60 is preferable), and enough damage and attack speed that you are capable of killing the elites and bosses. Silver bullet helps a lot with this. If your lifesteal and damage is high enough, you wont need as many defensive stats, but you want to make sure you don't get 3 hit to death by the bosses before you can heal up.
