The cryptid take Ghost axe because they have base dodge and we can take advantage of the boosted dodgecap. They give you damage stats, so you can focus on luck, harvesting and economy items. Tree give you a lot of money, so at wave 10+, dont break it.

After wave 10, dont break the tree because you have a lot of tree (cryptid have boosted tree drop in shop). Put you on a corner and dont go out (go out if you are in bad posture or there is sea pigs or loot aliens). Get gardens to get a safe zone. Focus on defensive stats, especially dodge. Start building curse and get black flag for more economy.
