Is Creature good in Brotato?
Creature is a strong curse-scaling character that turns high Curse into massive weapon damage, but needs careful range, defense and XP management to stay stable in the late game.
Strengths
- Weapon damage scales additionally with Curse, giving excellent damage growth over time.
- Starts with a cursed Fish Hook and gains Curse every level, naturally stacking the main stat.
- Works very well with fast-hitting weapons that quickly convert Curse into DPS.
Weaknesses
- Loses Range and XP Gain at the end of every wave, making positioning and leveling harder as the run progresses.

Creature Stats & Passive Ability
Creature revolves around stacking Curse and converting it into raw damage. Every level gives +1 Curse and all weapon damage gains an additional 35% scaling from your total Curse, so the longer the run goes, the harder your weapons hit. You start with a cursed Fish Hook to get early value from Curse-centric items. Because you lose Range and XP Gain at the end of each wave, you must compensate with items, high attack speed and good positioning. Fast, ranged weapons let you stay at a safe distance while still benefiting from Curse scaling. Plan to pick range, attack speed and some economy early, then shift into damage and defenses once your Curse and DPS start snowballing.

SMGs have very high attack speed, letting Creature apply his Curse-based damage scaling constantly while staying at range to mitigate the penalties to Range and rising enemy threat.
Hiking Pole passively restores Range as you move, directly countering Creature's stacking Range penalty and helping SMGs hit safely from farther away.
Best items for Creature (core item pool)
Ashes supplies damage, attack speed and a large chunk of Range in one item, perfectly offsetting Creature’s Range loss while amplifying his Curse-scaled DPS.
Black Flag adds flat Curse and bonus materials from cursed enemies, feeding both Creature’s damage scaling and his economy at the cost of tougher waves, which he can handle with high DPS.
Hunting Trophy turns SMG crits into a strong economy engine, helping Creature afford key Curse and Range items needed for Endless scaling.

Maintain high attack speed on SMGs, keep moving to dodge threats, and rely on your long Range and burst to delete elites and bosses before they can close in.
