Brotato Jack Build Guide – Best Endless Builds
Jack Build & Strategien für Endless-Läufe
Is Jack good in Brotato?
Jack is a strong but volatile character who excels at elite and boss hunting while farming a huge amount of materials, but he faces very tanky, hard-hitting enemies and low wave density.
Strengths
- Massive bonus damage against bosses and elites, making them melt with the right build
- Great economy thanks to +200% materials dropped, allowing rapid item and weapon scaling
- Reduced enemy count makes waves more manageable and easier to control
- Endless-focused builds can snowball very hard once damage and defenses are online
Weaknesses
- Enemies have huge extra health and damage, so mistakes are heavily punished
- Low enemy count makes some economy and on-hit effects weaker
- On higher danger levels only elites spawn instead of hordes, demanding strong single-target damage
- Item choices that increase enemy stats or rely on many enemies are often risky or bad
Jack Stats & Passive Ability
Jack is built around elite and boss hunting: you get huge bonus damage against them and a lot of materials, but you fight far fewer enemies with massively increased health and damage. This pushes you towards high single-target DPS, strong crit scaling and focused wave control rather than generic clear. Early on, you want to quickly establish your main weapon setup and core offensive stats so you can delete elites before they overwhelm you. Once your damage is reliable, you transition into stacking armor, max HP, regeneration, dodge and mobility so you can survive Jack’s buffed enemies in late waves and Endless.

Strategy
🌱Early Game
Rush 6 Icicles as fast as possible and ignore most items at the start. Stack attack speed and range on level-ups to reach the first elemental and crit breakpoints, and don’t be afraid to reroll shops aggressively to lock Icicles.
⚡Mid Game
Once you have 6 Icicles, start upgrading them while pushing crit chance and attack speed. Pick up key range and crit items like Insanity and Glasses, then swap focus towards elemental damage and survivability as you approach wave 10. Aim for at least four purple Icicles and solid range/attack speed by wave 10, adding some cheap HP when available.
🔥Late Game & Endless
Around wave 10–12, pivot hard into defenses: max HP, armor, regeneration and a bit of speed to withstand Jack’s boosted elites. Keep your core offensive stats high but avoid engineering and risky pickups that hurt armor or dodge. From there, add whatever synergistic elemental and crit items you find while maintaining your main four stats to stay safe in Endless.
Best weapons for Jack
Icicle is the most used weapon across Jack builds and forms the core of the Jack Frost Endless setup: it provides piercing, elemental scaling and strong single-target damage, which combine perfectly with Jack’s massive elite and boss damage bonus.
Knives scale extremely well with crit chance and melee damage, letting Jack burst down his high-HP elites before they become dangerous, especially when combined with items like Silver Bullet and other crit multipliers.
Laser Gun offers safe, piercing ranged damage that benefits from Jack’s bonus against bosses and elites while keeping him at a distance from hard-hitting enemies in high-difficulty Endless runs.
Best items for Jack (core item pool)
Silver Bullet directly multiplies Jack’s already huge bonus damage to bosses and elites, making elite waves and boss phases much faster and safer for all weapon types.
Gentle Alien offsets Jack’s low enemy count by spawning more targets while also granting damage and HP, helping both economy and DPS without overwhelming him.
Grind's Magical Leaf gives Jack permanent scaling in max HP, regeneration and lifesteal, which is extremely valuable in long Endless runs against buffed enemies.
Bloody Hand converts lifesteal into a huge damage multiplier, letting Jack scale his DPS very high as long as you have sufficient sustain and defenses to handle the self-damage.
Scar increases XP gain so Jack can level faster and stack more crit, damage and defenses early, which is crucial against his high-HP enemies despite the range penalty.
Banner boosts range and attack speed, two of the key stats in the Icicle-based Jack Frost build, letting Jack control space and hit elites earlier.
Frozen Heart greatly amplifies elemental damage and adds crit chance, making Icicle and other elemental sources scale even harder for elite and boss melting.
Energy Bracelet offers both crit and elemental damage, directly supporting the Jack Frost Icicle setup with minimal downside.
Tentacle gives Jack extra crit chance and a steady source of healing on crit kills, which fits perfectly into high-crit elite-hunting builds.
Power Generator converts movement speed into damage, letting Jack double-dip on speed for both survivability and DPS in melee-focused runs.
Exoskeleton gives Jack armor, crit chance and speed in one package, supporting both defense and offense in difficult Endless waves.
Mammoth massively increases melee damage and regeneration, making Knife builds hit extremely hard while also giving Jack more sustain.
Jack High Difficulty & Endless Strategy
Early Game
In the early waves, rush your core weapon setup (6 copies of your chosen weapon) and stack key offensive stats like attack speed, range and crit chance. Use Jack’s strong material gain to afford frequent rerolls and weapon upgrades, but avoid items that reduce armor or dodge too early.
Mid Game
During mid game, stabilize your weapon rarity and hit important breakpoints for range, crit chance and either elemental, melee or ranged damage depending on your build. Start mixing in max HP, armor and a bit of regeneration, aiming to comfortably handle elite waves and focusing your gold on high-impact items like Silver Bullet.
Late Game
In late waves and Endless, shift more heavily into defenses while keeping your core damage scaling online. Maintain strong mobility to dodge elite attacks, grab sustain tools like lifesteal or regeneration, and use Jack’s elite damage bonus with items like Silver Bullet to delete priority targets quickly.
💡 Jack’s high-difficulty and Endless gameplan is to quickly establish powerful single-target DPS, then invest heavily into defenses and sustain to survive his buffed enemies. Economy is naturally strong thanks to +200% materials dropped, so use it to chase your best weapons and items rather than filler pickups.
