% Enemy Speed modifies how fast enemies chase you. Snail (-% Enemy Speed) is one of the strongest single defensive items in the game – slowing enemies is functionally the same as gaining speed. Old has +10 Harvesting + -25% Enemy Speed at the cost of map size.

Tip 1: Snail is a near-auto-buy on melee / mid-range builds – kiting trivializes most waves.

Tip 2: Old's character bonus stacks well with Snail – almost stationary enemies.

Tip 3: Stack on Lich and stand-still characters – they need enemies to come to them.
