Some items in this Engineer Turret Engineer build require unlocking before they can be used. Note that items listed in "Avoid" sections are also shown here - check the build details to see if unlocking them is necessary for this strategy.
Focus on maximizing Engineering to boost turret damage. Create a defensive position with clustered turrets and medical turrets for healing. The Engineer's turrets spawn close together, allowing focused damage on targets.
Priority is getting 6 Wrenches early for maximum turret deployment. First shop usually guarantees tool-type weapons. Lock and reroll for Wrenches. Build some armor (aim for 8) before focusing on dodge.
Pocket Factory is a crucial pickup for expanding turret coverage. Focus on HP regeneration to offset inability to use lifesteal effectively. Start building dodge while maintaining armor growth.
Tyler provides crucial AOE damage. Look for items that add piercing or bouncing effects to help clear hordes. Build dodge to cap (especially while standing still). Stack engineering for massive turret damage.
Avoid items that reduce speed as mobility is important for positioning. Don't focus on elemental damage due to Engineer's penalties. Avoid excessive -HP items as surviving while repositioning is crucial.
Position yourself behind turrets to force enemies through them. Level 2 turrets do most total damage over time, while level 4 provides explosion damage. Medical turrets scale healing with engineering. Stand still when possible if you have dodge while standing still bonuses.
